Maybe you will see beavers at the Wildlife Preserve

October and November are two of our favorite months to hike the Berkshires. Crowds are thin, there is still good fall color, and some trees are startlingly bare against the sky. From time to time, flurries of snow fall and the cold air turns our cheeks red. This is a peaceful time to get out into the woods.

For our guests who enjoy hiking, we offer a Hiker’s Special. We will pay for your admittance into the Pleasant Valley Mass. Audubon Wildlife Preserve, and load you up with water bottles and a healthy snack. We are also happy to recommend other hikes close to our Berkshires lodging.
