10X10 New Play Festival 2017Barrington Stage Company’s 10X10 New Play Festival features ten 10-minute plays, written by 10 playwrights, and performed by an ensemble of six actors! Thursdays through Sundays, February 16th to March 5th, 2017!

The 6th Annual 10X10 New Play Festival is part of Pittsfield’s 6th annual 10X10 Upstreet Arts Festival.

This diverse arts festival, held in downtown Pittsfield from February 16th through the 26th, sees all manner of activities and attractions – and all based in some way around the number ten. Ten minutes of fireworks, for example, or 10 Photographs by 10 artists.

One of the bigger attractions has been the Barrington Stage Company’s 10X10 New Play Festival. Seeing ten new plays, performed by an ensemble cast of six actors, in just over an hour and a half is quite the experience. The plays are often humorous and always thought-provoking, having been chosen from hundreds of submissions.

Here’s this year’s lineup of ten-minute plays for the 10X10 New Play Festival.
