The Laurel Hill Park Rostrum

Bidwell Park is directly adjacent to Laurel Hill nature preserve, a historic, heavily forested, oak-studded hill in the center of Stockbridge, MA. The park and many other properties around Stockbridge are managed by The Laurel Hill Association, the country’s oldest village improvement society. In fact, Laurel Hill was the first property acquired by the Laurel Hill Association back in 1853. The park offers forested hiking trails and four historic monuments, including two stone seats and a rostrum.

Stockbridge is also home to a great many of the Berkshires most iconic attractions. Places like Edith Wharton’s The Mount, Naumkeag, Berkshire Botanical Garden, Chesterwood, The Norman Rockwell Museum, Monument Mountain, and others.
