Come discover a world of amazing flavors when you set out along the Berkshire Cheese Trail. Makers throughout the Berkshires, from Williamstown to Great Barrington, Plainfield to Old Chatham – produce exceptional, artisanal, small-batch cheeses, some of which you’ll find nowhere else!
The recent farm-to-table movement that swept the nation has helped to bring great, regional foodmakers to light. More people than ever, now, are eager for locally-sourced ingredients, regional flavors, and sustainable practices. What this translates to is healthier, more delicious foods and unique regional flavors.
The Berkshires are no exception. Independent farms, foodmakers, and local food scenes are flourishing here in the Berkshires and Hudson Valley.
In order to help you discover all the area’s great flavors, Berkshire Farm & Table has mapped out some Berkshire Taste Trails. There’s a Beer & Cider Trail, Charcuterie Trail, and – of course, a Cheese Trail.
Finding and sampling regional cheeses is an easy task when you’re on the Berkshire Cheese Trail! Whether you travel the entire trail, or only stop at a few locations, the Berkshire Cheese Trail will not disappoint!
