Jiminy Peak Summer Fun

July 25, 2020 by Corey A. Edwards

Jiminy Peak Mountain CoasterJiminy Peak Mountain Resort is well known to visiting skiers – but did you know the resort is open during summer, too? During warmer months, their Mountain Adventure Park offers ziplines, alpine slides, mountain coasters, hiking, scenic chairlift rides, and more. Berkshire Mountain Biking

April 5, 2010 by Applegate Inn

Spring is a fun time to mountain bike in the Berkshires. The trails aren’t crowded, the weather isn’t too hot, and the woods are shimmering with new growth.

Experience the Berkshires on a mountain bike

There are well over 100 mountain biking trails in the Central and Southern Berkshires. In fact, there are easily a dozen trails close to our Lenox bed and breakfast.

The Lenox Fire Tower offers a great challenge – the view from the top is worth all the effort it takes to get there, but we can’t say the ride down will be relaxing. October Mountain State Forest has 11 miles of rolling trails, while the trail up Lenox Mountain rewards your hard work with fantastic views.

You’ll be ready to relax with wine and cheese in the living room of our Lenox bed and breakfast, or soak in your generous jetted tub. After an excellent night’s sleep, we’ll provide a delicious, nourishing breakfast to help get you back in the saddle so you can explore more nearby Berkshire mountain bike trails.
